ENGLISH: I ll be contributing to @theacademy beyond amazing Gold Internship Program. The #academygold internship program aims to boost inclusion in the film industry by exposing young people from underrepresented communities to various aspects of the film business through a range of workshops, panels and screenings that enable them to mix with established figures in the industry. I can t wait to meet my intern and mentor him/her for the next 8 months, hopefully it ll help get her/his career off the ground - ESPAÑOL: Voy a contribuir con el maravilloso programa de pasantías #academygold de #theacademy que apoya e impulsa a futuros cineastas. A través de talleres, paneles, proyecciones privadas, etc; se expone a miembros de comunidades poco representadas a interactuar con reconocidos profesionales de la industria cinematográfica para que est@s jóvenes obtengan experiencia y eventualmente más presencia y representación en la industria. Este es un esfuerzo palpable de la academia para lograr mayor inclusión. Estoy ansioso de conocer a mi practicante para guiarl@ por los próximos 8 meses. Espero poder ser de su ayuda y que mis experiencias le den herramientas para iniciar su carrera exitosamente.
