Today we wanted to share a special story about Jenni. Six years ago today, on October 31st, 2011, she drove five hours with her husband and her jeweler/best friend Elena, to go visit a little girl in the hospital. Every time she got to visit sick fans, Jenni would take the time to get to know them better and pray with their families for God to heal them. Jenni held the little girl in her arms and eventually she asked her How come you don t want to sleep The little girl responded I don t want to go to sleep because you ll be gone when I wake up. Jenni promised her that she d be there when she woke up. Jenni and the little girl both fell asleep together for a few hours. When Jenni woke up, she drove five hours back home to take her youngest son, Juan Angel trick-or-treating. Over the years that she hasn t been here to defend herself, certain people have tried to tarnish Jenni s memory and make her seem like someone she wasn t. THIS is who Jenni IS. She s the legendary artist that would drive hours to visit a sick fan, fall asleep with her, but at the same time, she s the mother that wanted to be home on time to take her son trick-or-treating.
