Anuel AA is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer often dubbed "The God of Latin Trap," and one of the genre's most influential — and controversial — figures.
Origins
Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he began recording at fourteen and posting music online by 2014, before signing to the Latin division of Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well received.
