Heroes del Silencio
Héroes del Silencio were a Spanish rock band from Zaragoza, considered one of the all-time best acts in the Rock en español genre.
Origins
Formed in 1984 around guitarist Juan Valdivia and singer Enrique Bunbury, with bassist Joaquín Cardiel and drummer Pedro Andreu, they found success across Spain, the Americas and several European countries during the 1980s.

Their music is marked by intricate lyrics, complicated arrangements and precise rhythm — trademarks that set them apart within the Rock en español scene.
Legacy
After roughly twelve years and multiple albums the band broke up in 1996, with Bunbury launching a solo project and other members pursuing their own paths. In 2007 they reunited for a ten-concert world tour marking their 20-year anniversary.
