LESS THAN 24 HOURS! || @esquivelshoes would like to thank everyone that has already purchased a tote or helped spread the word of the campaign to feed vulnerable children and their families. Growing up like many of the children the purchases of the totes will feed, I can personally attest that it is miserable as a kid going into the weekend not knowing if I would have food to eat. I can still remember when my mom would get hired to clean a house or land another day job. We knew her working would bring home groceries. As soon as we saw her, we would all run to meet her to see what food she had brought home. On those occasions, we would forget about our cramped motel home, knowing there would be food. Since we couldn t afford candy bars, she would surprise us with a bag of chocolate chips as a treat. To this day, I still get excited when there s chocolate chips in the pantry.
