Yuri
Yuri, born Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, is one of Mexico's most enduring pop stars. A singer, actress, and TV presenter, she became one of Latin America's biggest pop voices.
Origins
She began as a teenager with her 1978 debut album Tú Iluminas mi Vida and gained wider fame representing Mexico at the 1984 OTI Festival, where she placed third with “Tiempos mejores.”

Known for her vocal versatility, Yuri has explored pop, dance, ranchera, and tropical music, anchored by a powerful, expressive voice.
