Yuri, born Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, is one of Mexico's most enduring pop stars. A singer, actress, and TV presenter, she became one of Latin America's biggest pop voices.
She began as a teenager with her 1978 debut album Tú Iluminas mi Vida and gained wider fame representing Mexico at the 1984 OTI Festival, where she placed third with “Tiempos mejores.”
