Bad Bunny is the Puerto Rican artist who dragged Spanish-language rap to the very top of the global charts without ever switching to English. The self-styled "King of Latin Trap," he became the most-streamed artist in the world in the early 2020s.

Orígenes

Born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, he was bagging groceries and uploading tracks to SoundCloud when "Soy Peor" went viral in 2016. Within a few years he was headlining stadiums and topping the Billboard 200 with all-Spanish albums.
