Os Mutantes are a Brazilian rock band closely linked with the Tropicália movement of the late 1960s and later acclaimed worldwide.
Formed in 1966, they emerged within the Tropicália scene and released their now-celebrated self-titled debut album in 1968.
Heavily influenced by Anglo-American psychedelic pop, they fused Brazilian sensibilities with studio experimentation — feedback, distortion and musique concrète — into a groundbreaking sound.
Their inventive blend of tropicália and psychedelia made them a cult-classic band whose influence grew well beyond their era.
A Minha Menina
"A Minha Menina" is among their signature songs, an upbeat favorite that captures their playful, psychedelic style.
