Timbiriche was a hugely influential Mexican pop group that grew from a children's act into one of the defining Latin pop groups of the 1980s and early 1990s. It launched several major stars.
Formed in 1981 as a children's music project—created in response to the Spanish group Parchís—the band evolved into teen pop and then a more mature pop sound.
Their music is Latin pop, bright and youthful, built on group harmonies and catchy, radio-ready songs.
Regarded as one of the most influential Latin pop groups of its era, Timbiriche served as a launchpad for stars like Paulina Rubio and Thalía.
Tú y Yo
“Tú y Yo” is one of their signature songs, capturing the upbeat pop spirit that defined the group.
