Luis Miguel is a Mexican singer and record producer affectionately known as "El Sol de México." Born in Puerto Rico to parents of Spanish and Italian descent, he became one of the most celebrated voices in Latin music.
He launched his career in 1982 and rose to prominence as a defining figure of his generation, notable as the only major Latin singer of that era not to cross over into the Anglo market during the 1990s "Latin Explosion."
His range spans pop songs, ballads, boleros, tangos, jazz, big band and mariachi, though he is especially associated with the romantic bolero tradition.
By staying rooted in Spanish-language music even as peers crossed over, Luis Miguel built a singular and lasting place in Latin pop, revered for both his voice and his interpretations of classic forms.
La Incondicional
"La Incondicional" is one of his signature ballads, beloved for the romantic intensity and polished delivery that define his appeal.
